On April 30, the Ohio location of North American Van Lines agent University Moving & Storage completed the move of personal belongings for U.S. Navy Petty Officer First Class (Ret.) John Kremer and his family, completing the official moving process for them into their Gary Sinise Foundation specially adapted smart home. This was the last of two moves University completed for the Kremers, with the first being the new furnishings provided for the smart home through the Gary Sinise foundation. The Kremer move is the 83rd Gary Sinise Foundation move North American has completed since becoming a sponsor in 2014.
“North American Van Lines has always supported our servicemen and women that give so much in defense of our freedom and ensure our safety,” said Kevin Murphy, Vice President and General Manager, North American Van Lines. “Working with the Gary Sinise Foundation moving these heroes and their families has been an honor for everyone involved at our van line and will continue to do our best to make their move to their forever home as easy and stress-free as possible.”
“University Moving & Storage has always supported our military and first responders and has been a strong advocate for the Gary Sinise Foundation since North American began supporting the organization in 2014,” says Andy Kroll, Chief Revenue Officer, University Moving & Storage. “It has truly been an honor for everyone at University Moving, from our operations people to our driver and crew that personally handled the moves, to assist the Kremer family during this important part of their lives. We look forward to moving other Gary Sinise Foundation smart home recipients in the future.”
The Gary Sinise Foundation serves our nation through programs that honor defenders, veterans, first responders and their families, as well as those in need.
